I am grateful for.....

my leather furniture!!

Joseph, Eden and I were having fun with a couple of the cutest girls ever, Eve and Maggie Tippets. We had just finished making cookie dough when Alan called from school and needed something off of his computer so I went downstairs and as soon as I finished solving Alan's problem, I got another phone call that I took. It wasn't a long conversation maybe 3 minutes. When I came back upstairs there was cookie dough on my couch, love seat, and chair. At that moment I can't describe the joy I felt and how grateful I was that we decided to go with leather instead of fabric couches. Yes, they may have been more expensive at the time, but it saved me hours of scrubbing which is worth far more, plus I didn't have to get upset at anyone. It took a max of 5 minutes to clean up and that includes the time it took to get a rag and get it wet!

Nice! I would have freaked, but of course the clean up time for my couch would have been a lot longer! (This post is making me think I should put a leather family room set on my wish list!!)

Oh, you're a good mom. So glad you got it cleaned. I LOVE your Angel/Shaggy song! I sing it and my son looks at me like I'm nuts.

Hmmm, that's a good argument for leather couches right there. I may have to consider it. Thinking of how many times I have discovered food, markers, and various bodily fluids on my couches (granted, I consider them disposable!), I may need to think about leather....
