I love waking up with the sun streaming in to my room! And there is nothing that drives Alan more crazy then to sleep in a room that is lite by the sun, probably because of the hours he keeps. I left my curtains in my room open last night, on purpose. (Sorry Al) There is nothing like being gently woken up by something so beautiful as light! For me it makes it so much easier to get up in the morning and immediately puts a smile on my face. I don't know that it adds any more warmth at that time in the morning, but it makes it seem like it is warmer. Who likes to get out of bed when it's cold?? All I can say is, it makes me happy!!

After writing this blog I went upstairs and went into my room and the curtains were closed. And Alan was sleeping soundly. What to do....
What's with those crazy Boss men? I love waking up to the sun streaming in my window too...and it drives Scott nuts!
I don't think it is a "Boss men" thing. I think it is a guy thing. Sunshine streaming through the window, gently rousing you from a peaceful slumber, makes you feel like a princess. All girls like to feel like a princess. Guys (at least this guy) are more like a grizzly bear. Keep it cool, dark, and quiet and I'm less likely to eat my young. It doesn't mean I won't, I'm just less likely to do so...Grizzly bears are grumpy when they are awakened by pawing cubs, overheated dens, and "gentle sunshine."

You and your hubby are so cute! Personally, I'm sorry, I like it dark and quiet when I sleep. On the other hand, my husband would agree with windows open. So we are your opposite. Good luck with your nights!
I guess I'm like Tracy and your hubby - I even sleep with ear plugs in and an eye mask on my sleep-in Saturdays!:)
I like to feel like a princess, but sun streaming in my window doesn't do it for me! Chris, on the other hand, would leave all windows open so HE could have the sun in his face. I LOVE it dark and cave-like -- the pillow goes over my eyes when it is too bright! ANYTHING to get more sleep . . . .
Hi Rebecca! How are things? Hope all is well with you and your family. Call me sometime! 303.341.4306.
