Thanksgiving this year was not what I had invisioned. It was quiet with 2 kids sleeping and only 5 gathered around the table, but we were together and really that was all that mattered.
There is so much to be thankful for. Family, friends, our home, the cars we drive, the food we eat, the clothes we wear, our good health, the country we live in, Alan's job......and all of that is granted by one source: a loving Heavenly Father. How blessed we are. We did have fun baking and preparing together.
We also had a couple fun moments while stuffing our faces...
After Rebecca shopped Black Friday we got to spend the day with the Nichol family who we met in Laurel, MD. We LOVED seeing them and their adorable children....who didn't stop growing!!

What a beautifully large kitchen! I am so jealous. I have been thinking about you lately. I drove by the Pooks Hill Marriott the other day and was tempted to stop in and see if they finally bought new decorations. I have also been wondering if you are going to continue your pie tradition out there.
Your family is beautiful. Loved your card.
Who wouldn't love cooking in that kitchen? Your new house looks great.
We had a small thanksgiving (with Bryn napping) and we loved it! Oh, and I'm totally jealous that you got to hang out with Gwyn and she got to hang out with YOU!!!
