Surrounded by friends and family we blessed Miriam in our home today. We had originally planned to bless there in Sacrament meeting but with our recent hospital stay and her immune system down we asked permission to bless her at home.
It always touches me to see a circle of neatly dressed men who hold the priesthood surounding a little baby who is dressed in white. It was a beautiful blessing with many wonderful promises.
(I had to add this photo of my beautiful creation)Afterwards we had a little luncheon with fruit, salads, shrimp, and bbq chicken sandwiches. It couldn't have gone better.
Side note: Eden (age 18 months) slept through the whole thing!!
