In my effort to be a fun mom, I made my children ants on a log, except we put on chocolate chips instead of raisins. (Peter doesn't like raisins). While eating this snack, magically the chocolate chips turned into real chocolate covered ants! How? I have no idea.......leave it to the minds of 3 little kids and we could end up with almost anything. The dares to eat chocolate chips. Who would actually eat a real ant?? It was a fun conversation to witness!

You are a totally fun mom, Rebecca--chocolate chips instead of raisins. Genius. You'll have to take Peter to the US Dept of Agriculture Field Day (first Sat in June). We've eaten chocolate-covered crickets and cicadas there; my kids love it!
MMMmmm...i love ant on a log..but i've never tried it with chocolate chips...yum!!

I love that treat. It is one of Abbey and Zack's favorite. But they just eat the chocolate chips and peanut butter and then ask for more. :)
